Daily responsibilities will include:
• Manage a portfolio of impaired accounts.
• Implement strategy and action plans for the accounts responsible for.
• Evaluate and make judgments on the credit risk applications and to assume personal responsibility for the accounts in the portfolio.
• Assist in protecting the Bank’s interest in complex Group and Multi –lender restructuring or recovery actions.
• Manage the potential risks from litigation, regulatory and other claims in areas of responsibility and to negotiate personally as required in complex situations.
• Recognize opportunities during a negotiation and pursue them to the benefit of the bank.
• Ensure integrity of data and information relating to the accounts in portfolio through the bank's database, processes and other reports.
• Actively monitor the level of provision in the accounts in portfolio ensuring compliance with Group policies and regulatory guidelines.
Given the client base of this role, applicants will need to be fluent Arabic speakers and have a number of years experience of Corporate Credit Risk of Distressed Debt/Remedial Accounts. It is likely that the successful applicant will have experience of working in an international or leading regional bank. Our client would prefer applicants to have an Accounting or Financial Management degree but if able to be flexible depending on experience.
