Position: Fundraising Officer
Program: Fundraising Unit – Report to the Association General Manager
Main responsibilities: 
Assure the fundraising of the Association.
Setting up a fundraising strategy for the Association with coordination and supervision of the general manager.
Setting a yearly plan for the Fundraising Unit.
Search for and identify suitable fund opportunities inside and outside Egypt.
Communicating and establishing relations with different national and international donors, sponsors, enterprises…etc.
Coordinating with the fundraising committee and the project managers to develop fundable project ideas.
Developing projects' concept papers, proposals, fill in funding applications…etc, according to the donor requirements.
Participating in project' budget setting with the Association‘s financial Department.
Managing the whole process of a proposal application and submission including internal and external administrative procedures for the submitted and approved project proposals.
Follow up with EACD's report officer of the required reports according to the projects agreements.
Reviewing and sending projects' reports (in Arabic, English and French) to donors.
Act as a liaison between EACD and donors/partners
Develop, manage and update the donors ‘database.
Representing and marketing the organization in different events nationally and internationally.
Carrying out other functions related to fundraising, marketing and public relations as assigned by EACD.
Regular reporting to the general manager.

Experience:
At least 2-3 years of work experience in NGO fundraising.
Excellent report writing skills both in Arabic and English, and preferably in French too.
High capability of both written and interpersonal cross-cultural communication.
Knowledge of development and NGOs work, particularly inside Egypt.

Personal Qualifications:
Flexibility, working under pressure, good communication skills, organized, good reporting skills, working in team, creativity, good writing skills, good marketing skills.

Languages and Computer skills:
Excellent Arabic and English is a must, French is an asset.
Word processing, Power Point, Excel, Access, Internet
Work conditions:
Five days per week.
