Summary:
This Atlanta-based position is responsible for providing the highest level of staffing services to SunTrust leaders. This position delivers high quality professional and executive-level candidates and advances SunTrust's brand across numerous markets and professional communities, while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the selection process. Deliver full lifecycle recruiting expertise and consulting for executive roles (compensation grade 52 and above) to support business leaders across the organization. Must proactively identify, contact and assess senior level talent both internally and externally. Develop relationships with multiple hiring executives and Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) to serve as the subject matter expert for specialized talent acquisition needs. Develops an in-depth understanding of the business and candidate qualifications and competencies to fill the needs. Ability to manage the recruitment strategy for multiple openings, from the initial research and planning phase, to candidate identification, assessment, development and presentation. This individual will perform full lifecycle recruiting and maintain excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates, and the community at-large. A wide degree of creativity, near- and long-term recruiting vision, business understanding, and personal organization is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the hands-on execution of high level search consulting related to assigned executive level positions.
· Write complete and detailed search assignments (client engagement documents), ensuring an understanding of job duties responsibilities and business requirements.
· Recommends search strategy. Drives the strategy execution working with both internal talent profiles as well as the external open market; or, drives the search firm selection process, monitoring performance and insuring seamless delivery.
· Interviews all candidates presented for detailed interviewing by hiring managers. Includes the use of face-to-face, behavioral-based interviewing methodologies.
· Oversees the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
· Prepares candidates for interviewing with SunTrust and specific hiring managers by providing detailed information on the company, our business strategy, department background, job descriptions, and expectation-setting.
· Organizes, leads and documents post-interview debrief/feedback and post-mortems with interview teams and candidates.
· Reviews the hiring manager's interview performance with each candidate and takes appropriate action when warranted.
· Performs detailed reference checking and/or reference analysis on selected candidates and reviews results with hiring managers.
· Extends offers of employment to selected candidates under the direction of the hiring managers and within the guidelines of and in collaboration with Total Rewards representative, the HRBP and within policy or guidelines.
Partnering with HRBPs, develops deep business knowledge. Confers with HRBPs and senior leadership to identify and understand future talent needs, workforce planning strategies, and proactive search needs.
Analyzes and tracks recruitment metrics to include statistics on: time-to-fill, candidate volume, diversity of candidate slate, resource allocation/utilization, cost savings, source of hire and client satisfaction, among other deliverables.
Develops and fosters an effective pipeline of key talent potentially available for immediate hire as succession planning needs dictate. Includes a network of diverse leaders, professional organizations and colleges.
Stays informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices
Minimum Requirements:
· 7+ years relevant senior or executive search experience with demonstrated success in managing a full-cycle search process; or, 7+ years HR experience, to include interaction work at the executive level that includes broad talent management and/or talent acquisition experience.
· Strong client-service orientation and proven ability to partner with business leaders to successfully drive talent acquisition.
· Demonstrated experience and proficiency in direct solicitation of candidates with strong hire conversion ratios.
- Requires college degree or equivalent substantial experience in a recruitment role.
- Strong recruiting compliance knowledge and understanding.
- Strong business acumen and organizational savvy necessary to understand and anticipate future business and talent needs
- Basic knowledge of HR disciplines to include compensation, benefits, staffing, regulatory and affirmative action regulations.
- Ability to think conceptually and strategically, while maintaining a results-driven approach.
