IT Technical Support

The required Candidate should be able to assist in providing technical support for one or many product(s) and/or product family.
Responsibilities may include:
 Perform first-level IT support-related activities on issues regarding the use of IT hardware and software, networks, wireless communications devices, Digital Signage, Kiosks and all IT related equipment
 Responsible, for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and fixing break downs of all IT related hardware and software.
 Participating in new product testing, , representing the customers technical needs, creating support logs and working with 2nd level Vendor Support team to resolve the issues. Works with the IT Support team to help resolve customer’s technical questions
 Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur.
 Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.

Skills
 Degree in Computer Science with 2 years of relevant Hardware and Software Support
 Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
 Excellent English Language Skills
 Proven verbal and written communication skills
 Strong troubleshooting skills on computer hardware, computer software, and wireless network and communication devices
 Must be a team player who can work successfully with other departments in a multicultural and multi-lingual environment.
 Service minded, organized and ability to work independently with little supervision.
 Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
 Ability to logically prioritize tasks and schedule work accordingly.
 Strong motivation to learn new technologies.
 Good working knowledge of Microsoft Products (Operating System and Applications), Networking fundamentals,
 Knowledge of PC boards/ CPU Architecture in general and Samsung based in particular would be an added value
 Knowledge of Switches, Structured cabling, Access Points and Routers.
 Knowledge of Tablets / Slate computers with different operating systems (Windows, Android, iOS etc.,
 Knowledge of TCP/IP Stack and Wired / Wireless networks (Knowledge of Aruba Wireless will be an added advantage)
